Recipe: A Quick Matcha Cake in an Air Fryer

Who doesn’t love a quick, delicious dessert? If you're a matcha fan (or even if you're new to matcha), this Air Fryer Matcha Cake is the perfect way to indulge in something sweet, without all the hassle. Soft, vibrant, and incredibly simple to make, this Matcha Cake is an ideal snack or dessert for any occasion.

Why Use an Air Fryer for Cake?

Using an Air Fryer for baking has become increasingly popular due to its convenience, speed, and efficiency. It offers the same great taste and texture as traditional baking methods, but with a fraction of the time and energy. Plus, it’s super easy to clean up afterward.

Ingredients for one bowl:

  • 40 grams of NOT GREEN Matcha
  • ¼ cup of flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Milk (approximately 45ml)
  • 1 tbsp Oil (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Mix it up

Start by adding the 40g of NOT GREEN Matcha into a oven-safe small bowl. Next, add the baking powder, sugar, and milk. If you're using oil, add 1 tablespoon to the mix.

Stir everything together until it forms a smooth batter. The oil will add moisture to the cake, but it can also be left out if you want a lighter version.

Step 2: Preheat the Air Fryer

Set your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and allow it to preheat.

Step 3: Bake the cake

Place the dish into the Air Fryer basket and set it to bake for about 10-12 minutes. Since air fryers vary slightly in cooking times, check the cake after 10 minutes to ensure it's fully baked.

Step 4: Cool and enjoy

Once it’s baked, let your cake cool for a bit before diving in. You can enjoy it with some raspberries on top of the cake.

Why You’ll Love It

The cake is subtly sweet, and the matcha flavor comes through beautifully, making it a great treat for anyone who loves matcha or is looking to try it for the first time. Plus, the air fryer cuts down on time and effort, so you get a delicious dessert with minimal work.

Tips for the Perfect Matcha Cake:

Quality Matters: Use our high quality Organic Premium NOT GREEN Matcha for that stunning color and yummy taste.

Oil is optional: Adding the oil helps to keep the cake moist, but it’s not necessary. If you prefer a slightly lighter cake, you can skip it.

Don’t overmix the batter: Mix just enough to combine the ingredients. Overmixing can result in a denser texture.

So there you have it! This Matcha Air Fryer Cake is simple, quick, and bursting with that fresh matcha flavor.
